- Clicking the floating Create button will now trigger an Amplitude event, providing valuable data on user behavior and content creation trends.
- If users click on the Create with AI banner in a Memo, they will be redirected to the manual creation process if they have no AI credits remaining. This streamlines the process and avoids disruption to the workflow.

We’ve made some tweaks to the UI when you copy a link
A bug was causing the app to crash when users changed their email address. That’s solved..
We’ve disabled the gesture navigation option when you’re filling in the username field.
Some usernames were showing as “null null” on the reader screen. That’s fixed!
On the ‘edit interests’ screen, some topic buttons looked cut off. No more!
A bug prevented some users from logging back in right after updating their email address.
We added a character limit for first and last name fields on the ‘edit profile’ screen.

Here’s what you can find in this week’s release:
- When a user signs up from a particular Memo or Collection, they will be returned to that screen after registration.
- For logged-out users, the sign-up screen (rather than the sign-in screen) is now the default when clicking on an interactive feature... because that just makes more sense, right?
- When creating a Memo and clicking "Preview", the cover image wasn’t displaying for some users. That’s been fixed!
- After deleting a Collection, it would still show in your profile - but trying to open it led to an error. Consider this solved.
- On the “Forgot Password” screen, typing in a non-existent email gave back an error message.

In this week’s release, we’ve made a few tweaks and fixes:
- On the Edit Profile screen, we’ve clarified that you can’t enter a space in your username.
- We’ve added a placeholder for the empty state on the Follows screen list.
- For logged-out users, two competing messages were showing on Collections.
- When users returned from the Forgot Password screen, the search and notification sections merged together at the top of the screen.
- On the Forgot Password screen, the keyboard was covering up the Send button.

In this week’s release, we’ve updated the design on the Follows screen, where you can find lists of your followers as well as the Collections and profiles you follow – all in one place.
We’ve also been busy zapping bugs:
- On smaller screens, the Edit button was misplaced when editing your interests.
- Longer usernames were overlapping with the Follow button on the Creators tab in search results.
- For some new Memos, a blank avatar was displaying in the notification screen.

In this week’s release, we’re introducing the Library section. It allows you to organize and create both Memos & Collections in one central place, so you can navigate all the content that’s relevant to you in a clearer and more efficient way. (Library replaces the Dashboard section.)
In other improvements, we’ve made some enhancements to the code structure, added a new empty state for better UX, and fixed a bug that affected users when browsing the Collections tab on other people’s profiles.

Introducing the new-look Memo’d! We’ve made some exciting changes…
- The sign-up process is even quicker. There’s no need to choose topics of interest during registration – and no minimum selection requirement at any point.
- The ‘For You’ feed is now split into two sections: Collections and Memos.
- For new users, these slots showcase the best content on Memo’d, as curated by our editorial team.
- To adjust the content according to your interests, you can now customize the topics you want to follow directly from the feed.
- We've added an interactive progress bar to help new users get the most out of Memo'd.
- A new navigation menu at the bottom of the screen also makes exploring Memo’d even easier.
- We’ve moved the search bar to the top of the screen, alongside the notification icon.
- The Notable section has been replaced with a simple Trending tab, so you can explore the most popular Memos with one quick click.
- The performance of the user profile screen has been improved.
- If that wasn’t enough, the cards for Memos and Collections have been given a new look and feel, delivering quicker loading times.
Expect even more improvements in the weeks to come!

- Bug fix: When searching for unusual terms, the message 'Your search did not yield any matches' would flicker before displaying the results. We’ve taken care of that!

Two related tweaks in this week’s update:
- Previously, when a user clicked on a link from an email or on social media, it opened in web mobile instead of in the app. We’ve now fixed our deep-linking issue!
- When a link to another Memo or a profile was shared at the end of Memos, clicking it took users out of the app and into the web browser. That won’t happen any more.
